Fatal Fire Apparatus vs. Car Crash in NC

A fire apparatus collided with a car Sunday afternoon in Kernersville, North Carolina, killing the 80-year-old man who was driving the car. The fire truck was driving with lights and sirens on when it T-boned the other vehicle, which was pulling out of a church parking lot. A passenger in the car was hospitalized with non-lift-threatening injuries, according to a report on MyFOX8.com.

Firefighters sustained minor injuries in the wreck and were treated at a nearbly medical facility.
