Ohio Fire Apparatus Involved in Head-On Crash with Pickup Truck

A fire truck was involved in a head-on collision with a pickup truck early today in Huber Heights, Ohio.

The crash was reported around 5:50 a.m. at an intersection, according to WHIO. Two people were injured, one firefighter and the driver of the pickup.

Authorities said the Riverside fire apparatus was responding to a mutual aid request from Huber Heights. The request was canceled and the fire engine’s driver was going to turn around when the crash occurred.
