Photos: Tower Ladder Dedication for Clinton (IA) Fire Department

Tower ladders raised

Fire photographer Tim Olk shared some photos from an apparatus dedication ceremony held for the Clinton (IA) Fire Department.

The department’s new tower ladder was dedicated to Lt. Eric (“Hoss”) Hosette, who lost his life in a January 2019 grain bin explosion that also injured Firefighter Adam Cain. More than 300 people showed up to support the family and fire department.

Pierce representatives were on hand to show a painting that was designed and placed on the bucket to remember Lt. Hosette. In the photos, his daughter, Addy, helped with the wash down of the apparatus prior to it being pushed into the station.
