By Claire Diab and Dennis Boyle
With the holiday season just around the corner, it is so important to remember all that we have and the gift of our family and friends that surround us. It is not about how many friends you have or the size of your family; it is about the love, compassion, and gratitude that we share with each other.
Take time each day first thing in the morning before even getting out of bed and each night before sleeping to spend three to five minutes to be grateful for the following:
1) Your life.
2) The people who care, love, and support you unconditionally.
3) Your home that protects you.
4) Your coworkers who work with you to protect and save the lives of others.
Softly close your eyes and picture the places one at a time that you are grateful for and thank them. Also know that you are celebrated and appreciated by so many people. We give special thanks for all of you every Sunday at The American Yoga Academy. Sending love and gratitude! Thank you for all that you do! Happy Holidays!
