It’s Time For Change!

Hi boys and girls!  Welcome to Sparkles’ Kids Zone on!

It’s time for change! What does that mean? It means that it is time to ask the folks that you live with to change your smoke alarm batteries!

Here’s a fire safety tip from Sparkles the Fire Safety Dog and our good friends at PBS KIDS Sprout!

If the batteries in your smoke alarm get changed, send a note to and tell us! Everyone that has their smoke alarm batteries changed will get their name in a drawing to have a chance to win a smoke alarm from our good friends at First Alert and a copy of our fun book, Sparkles the Fire Safety Dog. How cool is that? We’ll hold the drawing October 18th during Sparkles’ Safety Spot!

You can also find more videos and fun activity pages with the fire safety dogs on the PBS KIDS Sprout Web site!

Do you like to travel? Tango the Fire Safety Dog went to Chicago! Tango had a really good time sharing fire safety with boys and girls just like you!
