Chief Roi B. Woolley Library Is Dedicated

The dedication ceremony for the Chief Roi B. Woolley Memorial Fire Protection Library was held May 18 at Miramar College, Calif.

Chief Woolley (1883-1978) was an author, lecturer and a member of numerous fire suppression committees and organizations, both local and nationwide.

He spent over 70 years collecting information pertaining to fire protection. This collection was sought by numerous fire fighting organizations and departments. The library contains more than 600 books and 209 training manuals and pamphlets and is valued at more than $10,000.
