The NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION has a free, comprehensive community awareness information kit for fire departments to incorporate into their local Fire Prevention Week campaigns. National Fire Prevention Week is October 5-11. This year`s theme is “Know When to Go: React Fast to Fire!” Fire department educators may request free kits by faxing the NFPA Public Affairs Division at (617) 770-0200 or calling (617) 984-7275.
