Fire Academy to Offer Master Planning Course

A workshop course on fire prevention and control master planning will be offered in the 10 federal regions of the United States during 1978 by the National Fire Academy of the National Fire Prevention and Control Administration.

The course is designed for planning team leaders in communities committed to introducing master planning, using the agency’s “Urban Guide for Fire Prevention and Control Master Planning.

The course is a five-day, 40-hour intensive training session that will provide step-by-step technical assistance to these planning leaders so they can effectively lead thier master planning teams in developing and implementing successful master plans for their communities. It will be presented in a simulated planning team environment. Dates and locations where the course will be held in each region will be announced in the near future.
