Dispatches

Technical papers advancing the cause of fire safety are being sought for presentation at the National Fire Protection Association’s next annual meeting.

The association is particularly interested in papers addressing the meeting’s theme, “The Public/Private Sector Fire Problem Interface,” and in such topics as technological breakthroughs, code administration and enforcement, and cost-benefit analysis of code enforcement.

Papers that are non-commercial and technical and professional in nature will be considered for presentation at the association’s May 1989 meeting in Washington, D.C.

The deadline for papers is Oct. 1.

For more information, contact Kenneth E. H. Backman, Director, External Affairs, National Fire Protection Association, Batterymarch Park, Quincy, MA 02269.
