Firefighter Injured at Student Housing Fire in OH

A firefighter was injured fighting a fire Sunday night at an apartment complex housing students from the University of Toledo.

The Toledo Blade (http://bit.ly/SXQxmd) reported that the firefighter suffered what were thought to minor injuries. The fire was caused by food left unattended on a stove.

Battalion Chief Bob Krause said the firefighter, whom he did not identify, was taken to Toledo Hospital. The firefighter tripped while setting up a line and injured his neck and back, the chief said. He was expected to be released.
