Home Builders, Construction Industry Pledge to Work With Fire Service to Address Protecting Residential Structural Components

Prior to the hearings, representatives from the National Association of Home Builders, the American Forest & Paper Association, and the International Association of Fire Fighters worked on a potential modification for the committee to consider. The modification was ruled out of order and these non-traditioanl partners in addition to the Structural Building Components Association and the American Iron and Steel Institute all pledge to address the issue and propose a modified revision for the ICC Final Action Hearings to be held in Dallas, Texas, the week of May 16, 2010.
