Kemp Named Chief Engineer

Deputy Chief Franklin W. Kemp has been appointed chief engineer of the Atlantic City, N.J. Fire Department, suceeding Lawrence J. Skey, who recently retired.

A member of the department for 33 years, Kemp has been an engine company officer, battalion chief, director of civil defense, chief of fire prevention, line deputy chief and administrative assistant to the chief.
