London Fire Commissioner Resigns Amid Grenfell Controversy

London (UK) Fire Commissioner Dany Cotton has resigned, according to reports.

The Independent reported that the commissioner was set to leave her post in April 2020. The early departure comes amid ongoing controversy over the London Fire Brigade’s response to the deadly Grenfell Tower Fire in 2017.
