A Mount Vernon (NY) firefighter died this morning apparently after suffering a heart attack at the scene of a predawn house fire, according to a report on lohud.com (http://lohud.us/s9Whtk).
Details about the fire were not available, beyond the fact that residents were out of the home at the time firefighters arrived, the department said. No details about the firefighter’s death or identity were immediately available.
