PA Firefighter Injured in Fall Through Floor

A firefighter was injured during a fire Wednesday morning at Lincoln University in Oxford, Pennsylvania.

The firefighter was injured when he fell through a burnt portion of the first floor and into the basement of an unoccupied, two-unit campus residence that had been undergoing renovations, according to a report on dailylocal.com (http://bit.ly/S9wpSY). When the firefighter, identified as Timothy McDonnell, fell through the floor, a lieutenant on scene called a Mayday. McDonnell was immediately removed from the building and transported to an area medical facility in stable condition.

Oxford Union Fire Company Chief Brian Kelly told reporters McDonnell suffered nonlife-threatening injuries.
