Remote Operated TESTanDRAIN Valve for Wet-pipe Fire Sprinkler Systems

AGF Manufacturing has created a self-contained method to remotely fulfill the system inspector’s test on a wet-pipe fire sprinkler system.  AGF Manufacturing’s Model 1200 RemoteTEST incorporates a solenoid valve into the TESTanDRAIN valve.  RemoteTEST allows a single operator at a single location to perform the inspector’s test on multiple floors and multiple buildings through a local switch, an auxiliary panel, an addressable fire alarm control panel, or a LAN system.  RemoteTEST is designed to save time and expense in testing the integrity of a wet-pipe fire sprinkler system.

RemoteTEST meets both NFPA 13 and NFPA 25 requirements for sprinkler water flow alarm device testing.  RemoteTEST is a UL listed/FM approved device.

RemoteTEST performs an actual test that physically flow system water through an inspector’s test connection, simulating sprinkler head activation.  It tests the actual performance of the system water flow alarm devices demonstrating the system’s true status.  RemoteTEST reduces testing time by eliminating the need to individual travel to each valve in the system.  RemoteTEST eliminates the need for workers to climb ladders in stairwells or access ceilings to test the system.  RemoteTEST saves time and conserves manpower, reducing operation costs.  RemoteTEST can be activated by a local key switch, an auxiliary panel, an addressable fire alarm control panel or LAN system while retaining the ability to be tested manually.
