Sacramento (CA) Fire Department Releases After-Action Video on Firefighter Near-Miss Incident

This video explores the events of January 12, 2015 when two Sacramento (CA) firefighters were sent through the floor of house into the fire they were fighting. They fell into the basement, trapped.

“The SOGs that we have, the operating procedures and guidelines that we have in the Sacramento Fire Department were not built from theory, ” said Deputy Chief of Operations Lloyd Ogan. “The guidelines that we have today were built with blood, sweat, and tears.”
