Safety Bulletin

In response to requests from fire officials, the National LP-Gas Association’s Safety Committee has produced a safety bulletin directed at fire service personnel. The “Safety Considerations for Controlling Leaks and Fires in Propane Powered Vehicles (209-83) bulletin was designed to alert fire fighters to propane’s special characteristics and to the propane carburetion system. Proper procedures in handling a propane vehicle involved in an accident are also shown.

The bulletin is available to NLPGA members for 45 cents each and to nonmembers for 68 cents each, plus shipping and handling.
