Burger King Corporation has received a citation in recognition of the company’s commitment to saving children’s lives through a nationwide fire safety education program.

San Francisco Chief Andrew C. Casper presented the award at the Burger King National Fire Safety Exhibit’s first appearance on the West Coast. James W. McLamore, Burger King co-founder and chairman of the executive committee, said that youngsters learn the basics of fire safety through the exhibit’s films and cartoon characters.
