Scholarship fund established at University of Maryland
A $6,000 fund established at the University of Maryland at College Park will make available annually $2,000 scholarships for three undergraduate students of fire protection engineering at the university. Recipients of the System Sensor and Notifier Fire Protection Engineering Scholarship, established by the Pittway Systems Technology Group, will be selected by the chair of the Department according to the criteria of class standing, grade point average (2.5 or higher), and financial need. n
