Tennessee adopts NFPA 1 as state fire Prevention Code

The Tennessee Office of the State Fire Marshal has adopted National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA) 1, Fire Prevention Code. The standard includes minimum requirements for establishing a reasonable level of fire safety and property protection from hazards created by fire and explosion. It addresses basic fire prevention requirements and contains references to or extracts from the fire prevention and protection aspects of many other NFPA codes and standards. n
