USFA issues Master Planning Forum Final Report
The United States Fire Administration (USFA) hosted a Forum on Fire Prevention and Control Master Planning in March at the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Attending were experts representing fire planning agencies, local fire departments and emergency management communities, and affiliated professions such as city management and city planning agencies. The Forum`s objectives were to identify the critical concerns and issues related to fire prevention and control master planning, review and evaluate the USFA`s previous master planning efforts within the context of those issues and concerns, and recommend fire master planning initiatives for the USFA.
