2 Girls Die in Detroit (MI) House Fire

Two girls were killed early Wednesday in a suspicious house fire in Detroit, Michigan, after they reportedly refused to jump to safety from a second-story window.

The girls’ father leaped to safety and escaped the fire, but could not convince the girls to follow him.

Investgators examined the remains of the home after the incident. Officials told local news outlets that the girls’ father alleged that the house had been firebombed.
