Fire Engineering appeared under that name for the first time in 1926. It began as the National Fireman’s Journal in 1877; became The Fireman’s Journal in 1879; in 1886, Fire and Water; and in 1903, Fire and Water Engineering.

Joplin (MO) Firefighter Hospitalized Following Medical Emergency at Training Exercise

A Joplin firefighter has been hospitalized in critical but stable condition after suffering a medical emergency at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
