Action Training Systems Releases T-Shirt to Benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation

Over the years, Action Training Systems (ATS) has made a number of donations in and around their community. But this year as they celebrate their 25th anniversary of producing training for the emergency response industry, ATS has decided to donate all the proceeds of their T-shirts to the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation, an organization that directly benefits the fire industry.

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation was formed by the United States Congress in 1992 to honor the memories of America’s fallen firefighters by assisting their families and coworkers through tax-exempt donations. The Foundation is a nonprofit organization located in Emmitsburg, Md. where the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Park is also located. Proceeds from caring individuals and organizations are used to fund memorial programs such as scholarship assistance for families of fallen firefighters and initiatives to reduce line-of-duty deaths.

President and CEO of Action Training Systems George Avila, Jr. wanted ATS’s new T-shirt design to incorporate both the emergency response community as well as the ATS production crew. The main T-shirt image was designed by Tim Scoggins of Scoggins Art. The T-shirt was created to celebrate the relationship ATS has built with the fire service over a quarter century and to show the company’s continued commitment to the emergency response industry as a whole.

This has been a big year for the company as they released their newest delivery method, Action Training Online. All training courses will now be available via the web through their online learning platform.

T-shirts will be available on the company’s website, http://www.action-training.com, and at upcoming tradeshows. ATS will be attending FDIC in Indianapolis April 25th-27th, Booth #9005 and Fire-Rescue International in Chicago Aug. 15th-17th, Booth #3569.
