Affiliate Leadership Training Summit to Feature NFPA 1710 Workshop

This year’s International Association of Fire Fighters Affiliate Leadership Training Summit (ALS), to be held October 28-30 in Palm Springs, CA, will include one track with workshops to assist municipalities in implementing NFPA 1710.

The track, titled “Fire and EMS Operations: Evaluation and Planning,” will feature tools that locals can use to implement the new standard. Attendees will learn the details of the standard and how implementing it can improve the deployment and operations of fire departments. The workshop also teaches how to secure buy-in and financial commitments from attendees’ respective communities.
