BullEx enters firefighter training market with Magnum Fire Training System

BullEx recently announced their entry into the firefighter training market with the launch of the Magnum Fire Training System. Magnum is a full-scale, live fire training system for hose line and advanced extinguisher training. Magnum will be officially unveiled at Fire Rescue East in Daytona, Florida, on January 30-31, 2009.

Magnum was developed to be tough enough to handle a hose line and smart enough to provide realistic and effective training. If the trainee fully extinguishes the flames, on-board sensors shut-down the system, signaling a successful evolution. Reinforced construction and rugged components allow trainees to fight the fire with a full range of extinguishers and hose lines.

Designed specifically for firefighter training, Magnum’s dual burners generate flames over nine feet tall and allow the instructor to switch between pressurized vapor fires and liquid surface fires from the handheld controller.

“The goal of our Magnum fire training system is to train and challenge firefighters to extinguish intense fires with hose lines and extinguishers,” said Ryan O’Donnell, BullEx’s Chief Executive Officer. “With an output of 2.8 million BTU, trainees feel the heat and learn how to respond.”
