Join fellow fire service leaders from across the Northeast for the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs’ 108th Annual Conference and FIRE 2014 Expo, the Northeast’s premier emergency services conference and expo. Visit Michael Rosbach from CentreLearn at booth #1610 to see how your organization can easily track and report all your firefighter training including hands-on, instructor-led, and self-paced training using the CentreLearn Training System.
Rosbach encourages New York fire departments and EMS organizations to learn how they may potentially use the Training System to help gain approval for 100% online CME Recertification. He said, “CentreLearn will help department chiefs and training officers respond to the six requirements that must be met by an agency wishing to offer a 100% online CME program to its members/employees in New York State.” Learn more about CentreLearn’s support for the New York State 3 Year EMS CME Recertification Program by contacting CentreLearn or read more on their blog. Eric Hanchett, NREMT-P, CMTE Director of Administration at Clifton Park & Halfmoon Emergency Corps Inc. was recently approved and had this to say about his experience working with CentreLearn, “Thank you. My every interaction with CentreLearn has been productive and professional and we look forward to many years of working together.”
New York state fire departments are using the courses included in CentreLearn’s LearnFIRE and LearnEMS course catalogs to fulfill the requirements of the New York State Public Employee Safety and Health (PESH) Division of the NYS Department of Labor. Rosbach explains, “At least 8 hours of safety training are required annually. Courses in the LearnEMS and LearnFIRE course catalogs may help meet training requirements set by federal, state, or local requirements.”
In addition to the built-in courses, training officers have the ability to create their own custom courses to fulfill PESH requirements with the easy to use Course Builder, Instructor-Led Activities, and Document Manager. All training, including hands-on, instructor-led, self-paced, LearnFIRE or LearnEMS course catalogs, custom content, documents and more can be tracked and reported online, so records are stored in one place and 1-Click reports can be delivered automatically.
Rosbach added, “I am looking forward to meeting everyone at NY FIRE 2014. If you already use the Training System, bring your neighboring departments to share the benefits of online training. Email me, michael@centrelearn.com or call 717-227-4655 ext. 1019 to request free exhibit hall passes for you and your neighboring departments.”
