Defibrillator grants for qualifying volunteer squads and departments

Defibrillator grants for qualifying volunteer squads and departments

Grants of up to $1,000 are being offered through the Prudential 1999 Helping Hearts Program to volunteer rescue squads and fire departments that qualify. The grants are to help defray the cost of purchasing a defibrillator.

To be eligible for the grant, volunteer EMS squads must meet state defibrillation training requirements and raise the remainder of the cost of a defibrillator. Applications will be considered on a first-come basis. Squads/departments may apply by visiting Prudential`s Community Section on its Web site (www.prudential.com) or contacting the nearest Prudential office. n
