Drill of the Week: Tactical Scenario – Commercial Strip Mall

By Forest Reeder

This week’s drill is a tactical challenge for officers and firefighters. The emphasis for this series of drills is to bring together your understanding of fire behavior and building construction as you do your size-up and ultimately determine the strategy and tactics for the incident.

Write in your analysis of the incident factors and size-up consideration elements presented here. As always, use your department SOGs as your reference for scene decision-making.
