AR Firefighter Recruit Dies During Training

A 38-year-old firefighter recruit died after suffering an apparent heart attack during a training exercise at the Arkansas Fire Training Academy

David Eason died Wednesday during a firefighting evolution that dealt with how to get out of a burning building. West Memphis Battalion Chief Tim McNeely told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that Eason was talking to an instructor in a dark room when he collapsed.
