Five Troy (NY) Firefighters Sustain Burns During Training

Five Troy (NY) firefighters were burned during a training evolution Thursday at the Colonie Fire Training Tower, according to news reports.

The Times-Union reports that all five were released from the hospital later that day after sustaining burns in a live training class, with two firefighters receiving second-degree burns and in need of continuing care.

The class was reportedly attended by other fire departments from around the state of New York, and the injuries were deemed accidental.
