Forum Recommendations
Four work groups (overall, urban, statewide, and multijurisdictional master planning) identified the key issues involved in master planning and reviewed separate master planning documents. The four work groups were then combined into two. Each group generated a list of recommendations, which were consolidated into a final list by participants. The recommendations have been classified into two categories: the products regarding master planning, such as documents and training courses, and the processes for master planning, such as how to popularize the concept of master planning.
