MFRI courses win ACE recognition

MFRI courses win ACE recognition

The American Council on Education (ACE) recently granted college level recognition for 15 courses (25 college credits) offered by the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute (MFRI) at the University of Maryland in College Park. ACE`s Program on Noncollegiate Sponsored Instruction now makes it possible for students successfully completing recognized educational courses to receive college credits toward certain degree programs. The courses are listed in the ACE manual.

The evaluation involved a site visit and total review of MFRI curricula and programs by a team of national experts.
