This course is perfect for all levels of firefighters and is an interac- tive presentation for engine company members including size-up, line selection, positioning, riding assignments, common mistakes made, and much more.
Truck Company Operations: From Start to Finish presented by Firefighter Nate Evans FDNY Ladder 43
This course is great for all levels of firefighters from probies to of- ficers and covers all the potential duties and riding assignments of those assigned to a Ladder Company.
Aaron Heller is a 30 year veteran of the fire service and a captain in charge of training for the Hamilton Twp. NJ Fire District #9. Capt. Heller is a NJ Level 2 instructor and fire official and EMT. He is a past chief of the New Egypt Volunteer Fire Company and Vice-Chairman of the plumsted Township board of Fire Commissioners. Heller is an instructor with the Mercer County Fire Academy. Capt. Heller instructs at several national, regional, and local training events including FDiC. Aaron is a founding member of the Jersey F.O.O.L.S chapter of the Fraternal Order Of Leather-head Society. He is the owner of On Scene Training Associates, LLC.
Firefighter Nate Evans has been a member of the fire service since 1992 when he began his career as a volunteer with Ladder 21 of the pottsville, pA Fire Department. Nate is an 8 year veteran of the FDNY where he is assigned to 43 Truck in Spanish Harlem. Nate instructs at several local training events and specializes in Truck company operations with OSTA.
