Chief Dan Krushinski from the East Franklin Fire Department (East Somerset, New Jersey) joins host Tom Merrill to discuss how his department has been successful recruiting new members. Over a recent three-month period, the department brought in 14 new members. The chief shares some very interesting concepts and programs his department employs to motivate, inspire, and retain a cohesive group of dedicated professional volunteer firefighters.
