Sacramento (CA) Firefighters Get Rare Training Opportunity After Four Homes Donated

A property owner in Sacramento has given firefighters the rare opportunity to conduct training across multiple structures.

The property owner had decided to tear down four adjacent homes. But instead of tearing them down immediately, the owner offered the structures to the fire department, presenting the unusual training opportunity, CBS Sacramento reports.

The Sacramento Fire Department began training using the structures this week and will continue with controlled burns and other scenarios through March 21st.

The property owner hopes to redevelop the property.
