Three firefighters were injured yesterday while conducting an urban search and rescue (USAR) drill in Bayonne, New Jersey. Two firefighters were from Bayonne while one was from Hoboken.
A report from NJ.com (http://bit.ly/GLE7MO) indicates that one firefighter suffered a leg injury, another injured his hand, and a third firefighter injured his back when a cement block collapsed. One of the Bayonne firefighters was pinned in the collapse, and was rescued by colleagues.
There was no information on the severity of the injuries, although all three were transported to a local medical facility.
