Saw blades
The Abrasive Products Division of Remington Arms Corporation, which has just been purchased by the Remgrit Corporation, manufactures saw blades for cutting hard, abrasive, and exotic materials. Named “Grit-Edge” because of a cutting edge made up of tungsten carbide chips permanently bonded to alloy steel, the blade line includes advanced bandsaw and portable bandsaw blades as well as rod saws, hacksaw, saber saw, hole saw, and circular saw blades.
The “Grit-Edge” blades can be used for industrial applications ranging from shop uses to production sawing. They cut on both forward and reverse strokes.
