Quest Electronics announces the Questemp I personal temperature monitor, which warns the wearer of elevating body core temperatures. It consists of two components—a single-temperature sensor housed in an EARTM expandable foam earplug and a control module that is worn on the belt or carried in a shirt pocket. PROTECTIVE CLOTHING TEST KIT
TR1 Environmental, Inc. offers a test kit to evaluate the performance of chemical protective clothing under actual field conditions. The method is based on a modified version of ASTM Standard Method F739 and is known as the “permeation cup” method.

Leak-Tec, a toxic/combustible gas leak detector available from Direct Safety Co., responds to gas concentrations well below their lower explosive limits or OSHA levels.
