Liquid Gage

Span Instruments, Inc. announces the Subz-II, a freeze proof pressure gage. It incorporates a “floating isolator” within the socket of the gage itself which allows the Bourdon tube and socket to be filled with a freeze proof fluid. The system allows the service pressure to be transmitted to the tube while isolating it from service media that can freeze, thus preventing damage to the gage. This freeze proof option is available in 2½, 3½ and 4½-inch sizes in ranges to 1000 psi.
