The Associated Press reported that the fire prompted the temporary evacuation of a two-block area. Firefighters responding to the scene reportedly found flames shooting twice the height of the structure.

The stadium’s dry, seasoned lumber caused the fire to spread rapidly, according to the report, but no one was injured.
