Indianapolis (IN) Firefighter Injured When Hose Explodes

Capt. Willie Thompson, 46, was seriously injured when a high-pressure hose exploded while he was preparing for a training evolution at an Indianapolis (IN) Fire Department training facility. Reports indicate Thompson was filling the hose with air instead of water when it exploded in his right hand.

Thompson was in stable condition at a local hospital after the Tuesday mishap.
