Milwaukee (WI) Fire Department Considers Policy Change After Firefighter Helmet Cam Video

Helmet-cam footage a firefighter posted on YouTube is causing the Milwaukee (WI) Fire Department to rethink some of its policies.

The video  captured scenes from a recent working apartment fire, according to a report on wisn.com (http://bit.ly/JMpwm1).

Deputy Chief Randall Zingler expressed concerns that advances in technology may have gotten ahead of some of the department’s policies, and said the department was concerned with the issue of citizen’s privacy.

The firefighter who shot the video is not in any trouble because the video didn’t take him away from his duties, nor is there a current department policy against it, however the department is looking into developing one.
