MSA Cylinder Recall

A possibility of contamination with potentially hazardous levels of carbon monoxide in certain MSA steel air cylinders or breathing apparatus with steel cylinders has been reported by Mine Safety Appliances Co.

The problem seems to be confined to those cylinders purchased between July of last year and July of this year, according to MSA. Anyone in possession of cylinders (part number 94007) with the following serial numbers should immediately discontinue their use and contact the nearest MSA office for replacement:
