Streamlight® Inc. has introduced the Survivor Pivot®, an intrinsically safe, right-angle LED flashlight, featuring both spot and flood beams, a 90-degree articulating head, and an easy-to-use pushbutton switch to control lighting modes. The rechargeable light, which has multiple power options, is rated for use in Class 1, Division 1 environments faced by many first responders. The light is also available in a model that is ATEX and IECEx-certified for use in Zone 0 locations. The Survivor Pivot features a forward-facing LED spot beam for distance illumination and a flood beam that is angled downward for close-up work. The two beams can be used individually or at the same time to create an uninterrupted light pattern that delivers 325 lumens.

The Command Light EOS-RDL (Rapid Deploy Light) is a compact, battery-powered light that combines choice of a nonproprietary battery (DeWalt® FLEXVOLT, Makita® XGT or Milwaukee® REDLITHIUM) with high-powered LEDs from Akron, FireTech, FRC, Tomar, Whelen, or Vision X. The light can also be spec’d with optional shore power, allowing the unit to operate on 115 VAC or 220 VAC power. Depending on choice of LED, this compact 10.5- × 9.75- × 9-inch light packs up to 20,500 lumens in a lightweight design. The EOS weighs as little as 9 pounds and provides up to 4.5 hours of run time, depending on battery and fixture selections. The EOS can be partnered with Command Light’s Trident Tripod.
