The Papillion (NE) Fire Department designed this EMERGENCY ONE HP 105 platform quint to protect an area of heavy industry and multilevel apartments, according to Lieutenant Jeff Strawn. The jurisdiction has 40,000 residents within 80 square miles and borders Omaha.

DETROIT Series 60 500-hp diesel engine;
ALLISON HD 4060P automatic transmission;
HALE QSMG single-stage, 2,000-gpm pump;
three crosslays, each with 150 feet of hose (two 1 3/4-inch, one 2 1/2-inch);
EMERGENCY ONE 150-gallon water tank;
five-inch rear intake to platform waterway;
105-foot platform with 1,336-pound payload capacity;
17-foot, six-inch outrigger spread;
ELKHART Scorpion 1,500-gpm monitor in platform;
600 feet of five-inch hose;
aluminum body with 12 storage compartments;
eight sleeves for spare SCBA cylinders (four on each side);
HONDA 3.5-kw gasoline generator;
four HAVIS SHIELDS Kwik-Raze 500-watt floodlights (two on cab, two on platform); and
one COLLINS FX spot/floodlight on top of monitor.
