Woman and Dog Killed in Accident with Baltimore County EMS

A woman and a dog were killed in a crash with a Baltimore County Fire Department emergency vehicle responding to a priority call in Owings Mills Thursday, reports The Baltimore Sun.

The woman, Doris Scott, 59, was behind the wheel of a light brown Honda at about 3 p.m. when it was struck by a Suburban EMS-5 at Reisterstown Road and St. Thomas Center, Baltimore County police said.

An EMS supervisor sustained minor injuries in the crash, the union said.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the deceased,” the Baltimore County fire union, IAFF 1311, said.
