AL Fire Crews Respond to Rail Car Fire



According to a report from WIAT, Birmingham (AL) Fire and Rescue Service (BFRS) crews responded to a Norfolk Southern rail car that was carrying vehicles after it caught fire Tuesday night.

BFRS officials said the fire occurred at Jefferson Avenue and 31st Street SW. On arrival, fire crews found flames and smoke coming from one train car.



No injuries have been reported at this time.
