The U.S. Fire Administration released a notice on the death of a firefighter with the Alice (TX) Fire Department after he contracted the coronavirus.
Driver/Operator Robert Liguez, 52, contracted COVID-19 while responding to numerous EMS calls. Many of the patients he assisted tested positive for the virus. He passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021.
